Presentation copy signed by both authors to Fredric Warburg, George Orwell's publisher. Mary Low's first published poetry. Her 'Red Spanish Notebook': (1937), also jointly written with her husband the Cuban Surrealist poet Juan Breá, was highly praised by George Orwell. Like Orwell, Low and Breá were members of the quasi-Trotskyist POUM. Hardback.
