A lithograph poster made from a photo of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. Printed by Julian Richardson, perhaps best known as the founder of Marcus Bookstore in San Francisco, a store that served as a meeting place for Black artists in San Francisco, as well as a gathering place for members of the Black Panther Party. FAIR condition. Heavy browning to the paper, with faint dampstaining along the top and bottom edge. A few other ink stains and stains present, as well as general soiling. Creasing and wrinkling present, mostly along the extremities, along with several bumps, dings, chips and small tears. Pinholes at the corners and tape at the upper left corner. Overall a worn example of this. Fair .

The flier cites efforts by the union that established a union at the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Hospital and their work to gain higher wages. According to the flier, the bosses were attempting to thwart the union and break it up. GOOD condition. A pinback presumably given to children as part of the Modern Health Crusade originated by the National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis in 1915. The program expanded in the 1920s to cover various aspects of health and hygiene in schools, using a chivalry based system for advancement based on accomplishment. The red S present on the lower portion of the pinback may indicate this was given to a squire. National Tuberculosis Association printed on the reverse. VERY GOOD condition. Minor toning and rubbing, with some scuffs and bumps on the lip of the curl. Some rusting to the pin. Very Good .

The group also asserts thar the NLF and Provisional Revolutionary Government are the legitimate government of South Vietnam. One subtitle reads: "MIT: Research for DEATH." Paper label present on the reverse. Manufacturer's address is 1306 N. Central Ave. with their factory and show rooms being at 1226-1228 N. Central Ave. According to the William Fuld website's history of various Ouija boards made by Fuld, this change of address was made during 1910. Two styles were made in the beginning of this move, one with two bars under the word Ouija, and one, circa 1911, with three bars under Ouija. This has three bars. Think of the occult history this has collected over 100 plus years! GOOD condition. Maple veneer peeling and cracking on the reverse, along with some rippling, presumably from water exposure at some point (or ghost tears). Some peeling of the veneer to the top left corner with a 3 by ½ inch piece missing on the reverse. Minor soiling and staining. Some ink a bit faded. Good .

All signed by the politicians, and most accompanied by copies of the original donation letter. From the collection a private businessman who was evidently interested in helping the Democratic Party. Collection includes a 1956 telephone directory and guide to the Democratic National Convention; 1966 typed letter signed by Senator John Sparkman; 1966 typed letter signed by Senator Paul H. Douglas; 1966 typed letter signed by Governor of NH, John W. King; 1966 typed letter signed by candidate Endicott Peabody; 1964 Johnson For President Committee letter, signed by its treasurer; 1964 Gala Victory Party letter, with tickets, signed by dinner chairman; 1964 typed letter signed by Representative Eugene Keogh; 1964 typed letter signed by future Vice-President, Hubert Humphrey, along with a few other typed letters from various political campaign members. Printed on single sides only. A letter explaining the plight of Professor Morris J. Lansky, accompanied by a short biography page. The letter details his struggles with Arizona State University after he addressed students at an anti-racism rally. The Arizona State Board of Regents brought charges against him, which after a public hearing, were dismissed. Despite this, he was dismissed from ASU in June of 1970. He was then declined for a temporary position in California due to this interaction. Various suits were brought against ASU and California. The letter sought to establish a "Committee of 1000," to raise $1000 for his legal expenses. Morris J. Lansky was a professor and was one of the first citizens to use the Freedom of Information Act to discover that he was subjected to the FBI's COINTELPRO, revealing he had been subject to illegal wiretaps and surveillance. VERY GOOD condition. Vertical fold creases present. Minor wrinkling. Very Good .
