Not Stated, 1876. Soft Cover. 19p engraving of Kingswells House 1855 opposite title page. Original verse descriptive of Kingswells House and its surrounds - the verses outline a walk around the house and its surrounding pollicies. All original - but binding failed with marks on front card cover. Kingswells is near Aberdeen - AB15 8PJ: From the current Kingswells House website: Steeped in tradition, Kingswells House stands in beautiful woodland grounds in Kingswells off the main A944. History has it that King Charles stopped here for a drink from the well at the front door, thereby giving the present Kingswells area its name. Although predominantly always a family home, it was once also a secret Quaker meeting house during the 17th Century. Today it is owned by the Summerland Trust and they have lovingly restored it back to its former glory.
