WODEHOUSE, P.G.
Mulliner Nights
Toronto, McClelland & Stewart, 1933, First Canadian edition. Hardcover . Printed in Toronto by T.H. Best. Octavo, hardcover, variant in orange-red cloth lettered in black (also seen in red linen-grain cloth). 312 pp. Top edge light blue. Other than some darkening to the outer gutters, a fine copy. In the very scarce dust jacket, which has some edge tears, small chips to foot of spine, corners, light rubbing at folds, but otherwise quite nice, the colours bright, the white portions unsolied. We don't know which, if either, of the two bindings are primary. We don't believe the copy in red linen-grain cloth we handled had a coloured top edge, and another copy in red cloth reported to us had no topstain. The Canadian edition is very scarce in jacket, and the edition was smaller that either the UK (17 Jan. 33) or US (15 Feb. 33) editions.
