Corrothers was read, cited by its first line "To be a Negro on a Day Like This." Another address, "Where Ethiopia Should Stretch Forth Her Hands," was also given. Honorary members of Progressive Numbers are listed, including Rev. J.A. Gregg, Richard B. Harrison and Clarence Cameron White. List of last names and first initials of 12 members also present. While we could find nothing identifying this organization, its motto is "Onward, Upward" and its colors are lavender and cream. GOOD condition. Moderate toning and minor soiling. Heavy offsetting to the rear panel. Minor edgewear. Good .
