One plate has an ancient Oxford Public Library stamp on reverse. No other library markings at all. Good copy. An outstanding work. The plates are particularly fine with many being subtle tipped-in colour sample tones, as well as drawings of upper class room settings. The author was editor of "The Decorator" and a consultant on the subject in Britain and America. Outstanding work, especially for the colour samples. These are exquisite and include distemper (really lovely), woodstains, enamels, water paints etc, as well as oil paints.
