[C Drury E Fortnum]:
A Descriptive Catalogue Of The Maiolica And Enamelled Earthenware Of Italy The Persian, Damascus, Rhodian, Hispano-Moresque And Some French And Others Wares In The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford: Fortnum Collection.
Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1897. First edition (hardback). 8vo, x, 104pp. Colour frontispiece, 22pp b&w plates. Original burgundy cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. Binding rather rubbed, endpapers lightly foxed, and a few plates have experienced light offsetting from the tetx pages opposite (despite the presence of tissue protectors to all plates). This copy formerly belonged to the publisher Henry Frowde, with their stamp to the half-title page and the verso of a couple of the plates. Nonetheless, this copy is in good plus condition overall.
