My very first book.

Collins, 1955. First Edition. Hardcover. Clean hardback tightly bound in glossy pictorial paper on boards, a little rubbed & bumped at corners, no inscriptions. 28 pages, colour illustrations throughout by E. W. B. - about whom I know nothing. Illustrations are a little bit like Mabel Lucie Attwell, and this is a nice copy of a child's ABC, no printed date, but stylistically probably mid 50's. Good.
