Title waterstained, some staining to the text, and browning. One leaf (B4) restored at margin with loss of a few letters and final leaf (with index) repaired with loss of a few letters on its recto. First edition of this account of the Madura mission by an Italian Jesuit. Giancinto de Magistris (1605-68), served for several years in the province of Malabar in South India.
