There are several tears to the soiled rear cover with a piece torn from the top inner corner of that cover. [vi] & 118 pages, including a 4-page index. Profusely illustrated throughout, with depictions of large and small cameras, tripods, lenses, darkroom equipment and an unusual camera mounted on the handlebar of a nineteenth century bicycle with the large front wheel titled "Anthony's Bicycle Equipment". The page corners are lightly creased with the bottom front corner of the first few pages chipped away. There is a small tear to the top edge of the first leaf with tiny holes to the top edge of the next 2 leaves. Complete except for the cover. First edition. N.B.: This is the original first edition and NOT a facsimile. In addition to the handlebar mounted camera, the firm also offers a "Lilliput Camera" which resembles a "small handbag" and thus unobtrusive. On that same page, the firm portrays and describes a "Concealed Vest Camera", "worn under both coat and vest with the lens protruding through the buttonhole of the vest". RARE. Fair .
