The mounts for the plates measure 38cm by 29cm; the printed images themselves vary in size, but are typically about 19cm by 15cm. The portfolio itself is made of red cloth, with gilt titling to the front board. The portfolio is rubbed and scuffed; the plates are in very good condition. This portfolio was originally printed to accompany the deluxe limited edition of Walter Armstrong's monograph on Sir Henry Raeburn; the text volume is not present here.

Overall, this copy is in good condition. A prayer book of extreme rarity, not in the British Library Public catalogue, and with no copies listed on COPAC. WorldCat lists just one copy, in the United Library in Evanston, Illinois. Parts of this book would appear to have been published earlier under a different title, as the preface begins "a considerable portion of the following collection of prayers was originally written by a Lady of Distinction and Piety. They are now re-published with many alterations and additions"
