Original green cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, coliur plate inlaid on the front board. This is generally a sound copy, but is marred by a small stain to the front board. A list of estimates is loosely inserted. This was one of the shortest auctions in Sotheby's history; in the event the entire collection was sold as a single lot for $5.5 million. From the library of botanical artist Jenny Jowett, with her signature to the front free endpaper.
