New York: Sotheby's, 1985. Catalogue of an auction held at Sotheby's in New York on 20 November 1985 (hardback). 4to (27cm by 21cm), c. 200pp. Illustrated throughout in colour. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, coliur plate inlaid on the front board. This is generally a sound copy, but is marred by a small stain to the front board. A list of estimates is loosely inserted. This was one of the shortest auctions in Sotheby's history; in the event the entire collection was sold as a single lot for $5.5 million. From the library of botanical artist Jenny Jowett, with her signature to the front free endpaper.
