The set includes; 'Bibliographical Notes: A Classified Collection of the Chief Contents of the Gentlemen's Magazine 1731-1868', which provides details on a variety of books, bookmaking and selling. 'A Dictionary of English Authors, Biographical and Bibliographical', a handy guide to English Authors and their collectable works. 'Letters of Literary Men: Sir Thomas More to Robert Burns', which provides biographical information on a variety of famous authors, through their letters and correspondences. 'Elements of Book-Collecting', a useful guide to the hobby of collecting books, with space at the rear to make your own notes. 'Book-Collecting as a Hobby', another informative guide to book collecting, written through a series of letters by P. H. Muir. In the publisher's original cloth with the original dust wrapper to 'Book-Collecting as a Hobby&apos. Externally lovely to 'Book-Collecting as a Hobby', very smart to 'Elements of Book Collecting' with only a slight lean, and generally smart to the rest with leans, fading to the spines, bumping and rubbing to the extremities, closed tears to the spine of 'Dictionary of English Authors' and scattered damp stains to the spine of 'Letters of Literary Men&apos. Hinges starting to 'Dictionary English authors' and spotting to the endpapers to all but 'Book-Collecting as a Hobby' and 'Elements of Book-Collecting&apos. The wrap is very smart with the odd closed tear to the extremities and spotting to the verso. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and generally clean pages to all, with spotting to the front and rear to 'Dictionary English Authors', except 'Book Collecting as a Hobby' which is clean and bright.
