In 1965, the Grolier Codex was found in Mexico. The story has been well-told, and the Mayan screenfold manuscript is noted to be pre-Columbian. Known as the Maya Codex of Mexico, the Grolier Codex, or Saenz Codex, in 2018, it was renamed officially as the Codice Maya de Mexico. There are only 4 known Maya codices, and the one described in these pages is the only one still to be in the Americas. This tome includes an introduction and bibliography written by Thomas A. Lee, Jr. and includes prints of Justin Kerr's colour photographs, which have been copyrighted. Jacket in loose mylar protective sleeve.
