An Inventory of the Historical Monuments in the City of Cambridge Parts 1 and 2 with Maps
London, Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, England, 1959. Hardcover. 2 vols plus boxed maps. A set of two large hardcover books with a cloth box containing accompanying maps. The books are in fine condition with near-fine dustjackets. Like-new except for a former owner's neat bookplate inside both front covers. The jackets' spines are lightly tanned; otherwise fully intact. The map box is only lightly handled and sunned, and the maps inside are in excellent condition. Additional bookplate inside the box lid. Comes with the publisher's paper slipcover. The books measure approx. 10.8" x 8.75". Both contain many black and white plates and foldout sections. The box (which measures approx. 10.8" x 8.5") contains a folding map of Cambridge, and diagrams of the campuses of King's College, Trinity College, and St. John's College.
