Saul, Gloucestershire. The Standfast Press, 1973, Lovely book about a rough haired terrier, & her litter of 4 puppies. The author, who is an artist, decided to keep a record of their lives from their birth with drawings in b./ w. & some sketches in colour. This was about 1945; the puppies grew, 3 went to new homes, the sketchbook was put away. Nearly 30 years later it was found and became material for this book. Approximately 90 pages, including about 50 pages of drawings. 12¼" x 8½". Near fine in dark green cloth with gold lettering on front & spine. D./w. would be near fine except its price clipped, has a 1" tear on bottom front edge, a tear on back bottom edge with a 1" x 1" triangle shaped piece missing, is slightly worn top & bottom of spine and on corners.
