Each of the 99 full-page photo portraits contains a brief biography, giving date and place of birth, business or profession, involvement in industry or commerce (e.g. directorships, etc.), and club memberships. Portions of the spine are missing as well as a corner of the front cover, and the edges of the covers are rubbed, hinges are a bit weak but intact, silk endpapers tattered and in pieces but present, tissue guards chipped and creased, some expected age-toning else contents remain clean and unmarked; good-. No date of publication is given, but by reviewing the the list of biographies, one notes that D. R. Dingwall, who died in 1913, is featured in the book, so publication had to precede his death.
