Copy #294 of 1500 copies SIGNED by the illustrator on the colophon page. The first multi-volume set issued by the press. Scarce August 1934 Monthly Letter laid in. Ill.: Valenti Angelo. The leather on the spines retain their suppleness with just a few minor rubs; the corners are straight and the contents fresh. It is extremely difficult to find this set today in anything approaching this condition as the leather did not wear well. Fine set in Very Good slipcases with one edge split and another repaired with tape .
