Cloth, 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall. cloth slightly discoloured, unclipped dust jacket heavily rubbed with edge tears some creases and loss to spine, 'Troup' in pen to fep, 164pp + plates, very faint scattered foxing, rear paste down has an envelope attached by its gummed edge, this is addressed to Mr G S Troup of Christchurch New Zealand, being a well known local railways afficionado, the envelope contains 6 original photo prints ( circa 1953) of a model rail setting, but maybe not the one referred to in the book, the envelope is date stamped August 1953, also a one page poem on railways theme, possibly original, referring to members of Clan Fraser and O'Mangan working an engine together in New Zealand!. Very Good/Good.
