Beautiful etching of a Sicilian landscape with a city in the background. In the foreground are big cacti growing on the rocks, the nature is depicted beautifully. The view stretches over a valley, with in the left a hill with a city. The etching has a lovely areal perspective, with dark black in the foreground and soft greys in the background. The print is signed in pencil in the lower right, just underneath the plate. Angels in the clouds pour buckets of water across the country. The text below describes the scene with a further legend from 1 to 59 with details.
