Rare series of plates / illustrations in bw from the 'Librairie des Arts Decoratifs' and an interesting exhibition of arts and crafts in Paris in the 1920s. - Posters, textiles, book covers, photos, colored paper, upholstery fabrics, carpets, drawings, wall paintings etc. by Sonia Delaunay, Man Ray, Pierre Legrain, Pierre Colin, Raoul Dufy, Rene Kieffer, Jean Lurcat, Serge Glady, Pawel Tchelitchew ( on "Ballets Russes"), Jean Cocteau, Giorgio de Chirico and many more - At the beginning with an introductory text by Antoine Roche and a list of the illustrations.Plates 1, 5, 10, 19, 29, 32, 36, 39, 42, 45, 50, 53, 57, and 63 are in pochoir color. Quite scarce. 2 of the 5 missing plates are color, as well. Good, scattered foxing spots to most plates, linen hinges on portfolio rathewr delicate and some spotting to pred paper covers. Ties are intact.
