Boards are faded at edges, a small indentation to top and to bottom of front board (probably was tied tightly in a bundle). Preliminary pages are foxed and rest of contents are age-toned but unmarked. There are 12 charming color illustrations teaching children morals -- Charitable Louisa, Envy, Politeness, Offensive Manners, etc. Scarce dustjacket is soiled, darkened at spine and edges, worn, chipped and missing a 1" piece at top of spine. Spine has an ink smudge and a small label with a number. Dustjacket has the same illustration as the frontispiece pasted to front. Good/Fair.
