This scarce American dust jacket has not been seen before which lists other publications on the back which is unique to the other more common dust jackets. This very precious unclipped creme dust jacket designed by Vanessa Bell is printed in black and yellow. There is some minor rubbing and chipping at the heel and crown of the spine as well at the folds. Some minor tears and sunning at the spine and edges. Original orange cloth boards with white paper and label on spine printed in brown with some sunning on the pages. Protected in mylar. Published May 14 1925, 2100 copies printed -$2.50 Kirkpatrick A9b. Size: 8vo - 7 1/2"x 5 1/8" Very Good MRS. DALLOWAY provides a snapshot of post-World War I English society, addressing themes such as class, gender roles, and the effects of war on individuals and society.
