A limited edition work, limited to seven hundred and fifty numbered copies, of which this is numbered two-hundred and eight. The 1930 prospectus of Fulcrum Press is included, announcing the publication of this work. 'Lysis' is an early dialogue by Plato, with the characters of Socrates, Lysis, Menexenus, and Hippothales in a philosophical conversation with each other. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and other in-text illustrations. Translated into English by K. A. Matthews. Illustrated by Lynton Lamb. In the original publisher's cloth binding, and the original paper wraps. Externally, smart. Wraps are age-toned with some spots. Small marks to the boards, and light loss to the head of the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, though the prospectus has some spots. Very Good . Ill.: Lynton Lamb.
