This collection is comprised of 'Beyond the Horizon' and 'Gold' in the 1924 work, and 'All God's Chillun Got Wings', 'Desire Under the Elms' and 'Welded', in the 1925 work. These were all full-length plays, with themes of greek tragedy, english countryside and spiritualism. In the original publisher's blue cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing and the occasional mark to the boards, causing a touch of discolouration. Fading to the spine and darkening to spine label.
