One or two slight chips and creases to the leather surrounding author and title information on spines. Marbled page block, pastedowns and endpapers. Personal bookplate on front pastedowns of Volumes I and III. Pages 231-234 of Volume I have come loose. Rear endpaper of Volume I is partially torn, and there is a little pencilled marginalia near upper inner corner. Binding is sound in Volumes II and III. Some very minor age-spotting and fading at a few points. Text and illustrations remain clear. AF. Good/No Dust Jacket.
