This piece includes a description of the process and technology of sending/receiving radiograms, as well as "Commander Byrd Tells the Value of Radio in the Antarctic," by Commander Richard E. Byrd, and "The Story of Radio," by Malcolm Hanson. These communications were sent during Byrd's 1928-1930 expedition to Antarctica. GOOD condition. General toning. Some foxing, spotting and staining, mostly to the rear of the exterior when folded. Horizontal fold crease present. A few tiny holes present, with slight loss of text to one word. Good .
