A gazetteer and business directory to the towns and businesses of Cheshire county, New Hampshire, including short histories and descriptions of many towns, such as Keene, Jaffrey, Alstead and many others. Also present are some small views of towns, as well as portraits of local residents. FAIR condition, ex-library with spine label, interior pastedowns and stamping. Exterior hinges crudely repaired with library binding tape. Heavy scuffing along the extremities, with some scuffs to the covers. Spine worn. Minor soiling. Title page of the first part almost detached, with the binding a bit shaken. Leaf 257/58 detached in the second section. Minor scattered soiling in the interior. Fair .
