An almanac calculated for New England, containing the usual monthly almanac entries, although each month comprising two pages. The almanac is followed by several tables for calculating the position of stars; using the leech to forecast the weather; recipes for cement, gilt without gold, indelible ink, etc. Of note is a two page article by George W. Drew, a New Hampshire watchmaker, that describes their history, construction and management, and includes several illustrations. GOOD condition. General toning, minor soiling and staining. Minor creasing and tearing along the extremities. Several large diagonal creases to the rear wrapper. Paper toned, with some offsetting and very minor scattered foxing in the interior. Good .
