Stereoview of mill workers standing on, or among, large logs being prepared for the McCloud River Lumber Company. Logs, buildings and a faint image of Mt. Shasta in California present. The McCloud River Lumber Company was established in 1896, as a means to harvest timber in a difficult location. A company town grew at the locale. Side by side photos. GOOD+ condition. Minor curling to the slide. General toning, some fading and very light soiling. Good .
