A pass to Pleasuredome at Club Townsend, granting the holder free admission before 9 pm, or 1 for 5 bucks, 2 for 7 bucks. Hot men, hot music, hot times are also advertised, alongside an image of a topless man bursting forth from water. Pleasuredome originated at first as a Sunday night gay tea dance. This was complemented by Club Universe which hosted stars such as Grace Jones, Cyndi Lauper, the B-52s and Blondie, among others. Club Townsend was operated in the 1990s by Audrey Joseph, Bill Camillo and Les Dirks, with Ty Dakota joining Joseph after the deaths of Camillo and Dirks. Club Townsend closed in 2002.
