A large handbill promoting an October 15 rally at the Boston Common, as well as a November 14 student strike and the November 15 March on Washington. Organized nationally by the Student Mobilization Committee, the October and November 15th events were seeking a moratorium on ending the Vietnam War. These protests drew hundreds of thousands of people in mostly peaceful demonstrations. The reverse of this handbill contains explanations on what is happening in Vietnam, including US death toll, quotes from US generals denouncing the war, and quotes from the press against the Vietnam War. GOOD+ condition. Two horizontal fold creases present, along with a few small diagonal creases. Light uneven fading. Good .
