It was published from 1900 to 1905, before merging with Modern Women. This issue includes work by Myrtle Reed, Theodosia Garrison and others. Perhaps of note are two photographs in the monthly contest section, taken by a Mrs. Thomas Wood of New York, depicting African-American children at play. One is titled, "Good times in Georgia," and the other "Learning the rudiments of the cake walk." Also present is an architectural plan for a house by architect Frank T. Lent and an illustrated section of women's fashions in silk. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the magazine, with some soiling and staining to the covers. Minor foxing. Spine a bit chipped, with a 1 inch tear at the lower front cover edge. Good .
