Description: No Place, No publisher. Pamphlet. No publisher, place or date. Presumed circa 1868 based on dates in text. Pamphlet. 16 pp. A pamphlet apparently endorsing Lorenzo Sherwood as a candidate for president of the United States, while also arguing against the corporate interests that controlled the various railways in the United States. Lorenzo Sherwood served in the New York State Legislature in the early 1840s, as part of a radical democrat faction, relocating to Galveston, Texas in 1846. Large faint dampstain affecting the center of pamphlet, on all pages. Some creasing and minor chipping/tearing along the extremities, especially to the lower corner.
