Bookplate of Howard M. Jenkins on the inside front cover, from the "Avalon" house in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. Library pocket on the rear free endpaper, although this may have been put in by a previous owner, as no other indications of library status are present. Moderate fading to the covers, heavier along the spine. Moderate scuffing, minor soiling and a few minor stains present to the covers and spine. Cloth rather scuffed, split and frayed along the extremities with the head and tail of the spine frayed and worn. Dampstaining present to the front pastedown and free endpaper, along the extremities. Faint dampstain to the upper fore edge, not affecting the interior. Light scattered soiling in the interior. Page 11/12 torn along its lower 1/3, LACKING a portion of the text. BAL 343.
