Anecdotes of fencing with George Washington are recalled, as well as her great-grandfather's presence at the burial of General Braddock and mention of many other notable Americans during the time of the Revolution. Tufts also recounts her life growing up, as well as the bitterness felt by her family for the mistreatment faced by them at the end of the American Revolution. In GOOD condition. Faint foxing and minor staining present to the covers. Mostly minor scuffing and general fading to the cloth. Minor soiling. Minor edgewear. Spine sunned with some foxing and spotting.
