Full title: Journal of the Convention Holden at Montpelier, on the 6th Day of January, A.D. 1836, Agreeable to the Ordinance of the Council of Censors, Made on the 16th Day of January, 1835, Together with the Amendments of the Constitution, as Adopted by the Convention, and the whole of the Constitution of the State of Vermont, as now in Force. 124pp, plus a front wrap bearing a shortened title. No rear wrap present. An extensive record of the convention held in 1836, relating the various articles and amendents under consideration at the time and including lists of those who voted for or against each resolution brought forth. Also included is a printing of the Vermont Constitution as it was in 1836. In FAIR condition. Lacking a rear wrap. Front wrap with many faint signatures on it, with a few signatures present on the last page of the book. Moderate darkening to the front wrap, with faint creasing and edgewear. Corners of the book slightly curled, with heavy creasing to the lower corner of the last few pages. Faint but extensive dampstaining present from about page 55 to the end, intermittent and affecting some pages more than others. Minor dampstain in the upper gutter of the first several pages of the book. Minor darkening to pages. Fair .
