An accounting of the proceedings of the New Hampshire Senate for 1815, including votes on steamboat rights for the Merrimack River, a vote for securing the town of Portsmouth against fire, as well as a printing of a speech by John Taylor Gilman reflecting on the recent end of the War of 1812 with Great Britain and a favourable mentioning of the New Hampshire militias. FAIR condition. Pages of uneven widths, many with close cropped margins. Covers with general soiling, slight foxing and the word duplicate in pencil (on the front cover, as well as a $10.00 price and NH). Extremities with some chipping and creasing, especially along the fore edges, with many pages curled over at the edge. The text is clean and solid and very readable, with a mathematical calculation on one page in the margin and an extra page from another work laid in toward the rear. Overall a solid copy of this piece, in FAIR condition (Shaw and Shoemaker 35431, National Library of Australia Bib ID# 3755432. Not in Evans). Good .
