Very large map of Dubuque Harbor signed in the plate by Cram: "T.J. Cram, Capt. T.E. St. Louis, 24 Dec. 1844," showing proposed channel cuts and dredging projects for the basins and approaches to the harbor front, intended to improve access to the harbor during periods of low water. Shows a portion of the Dubuque street grid and selected major buildings. Relief shown by hachures. Depths shown by soundings. Foxing on report, small tear to map with some staaining, else very good.
