Johnson, first opened in Indianapolis in 1869, expanding to three other locations, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and San Francisco by 1875. It exhibited at the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia at which time it had published a book, referenced in this advertisement. OCLC locates two copies of this work (OCLC: 28748865): National Library of Medicine and Univ. of Alabama. A rare survival. A fair copy, fragile, needs conservation; but for a few minor losses essentially complete.
