To remedy this evil it has been thought expedient to call the attention of Post Masters to such extracts from the Instructions of the Post Master General, as will serve to remind those, who through inadvertency or otherwise, make up and forward mails as above stated, of the proper course to be pursued in mailing letters that should be sent to distributing offices, - as well as point out to them what class of letters should be sent to such offices." Circular about the direction of mails from the Boston Post Master. Includes extracts from the Instructions of the Post Master General to Post Masters: Chap. VIII, Sect. 77, 78, 79, 85, 86; Chap. IX, Sect. 94, 95. OCLC locates no copies. A very good copy with folds and two small tears at fore edge, franked and docketed on verso.
