Antimasonic Newspaper with a letter from Martin Van Buren; Antimasonic Nominations for President, Wm. Henry Harrison, and the entire Antimasonic Electoral Ticket, extensive discussions of anti-masonic news. With the prior anti-Masonic paper, the Whig, having ceased publication an anti - Masonic campaign paper called "The Constitution" was published for a few weeks. Martin Flint of Randolph and Titus Hutchinson of Woodstock being the chief movers in the business, and Henry S. Hutchinson acting as editor. The opposition called it in derision, 'Martin's Tupenny'." An opposing paper- "The Hornet" was started but it too was published for only a few issues. Scarce.
