A nice facsimile of one of two letters dispatched to the Spanish court in 1493, wherein Columbus gives an account of his voyage to America, noting that he took islands without a hint of resistance before he set west to (what he imagined) the continent of Cathay. A very good exlib copy with the usual markings and stamps, lightly soiled wrappers, contents clean.
