Francis Wayland III, was son of the progressive Brown University president of the same name. Wayland served terms as both the probate judge and the Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut before becoming a professor, and later dean, at Yale Law School. A good copy, detached chipped wrappers, mail fold, contents clean.
