Description: Hartford, [n.p.], 1870. First separate edition. Paper wrappers. 24 pp. 16mo. Lady Fenwick, was wife to Lord George Fenwick, second governor of the Saybrook Colony, which was sold to the Connecticut Colony in 1644. The following year, Alice Fenwick died during childbirth and was buried near Saybrook Point, but in 1870, was moved to Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook. Originally published in the Hartford Daily Courant; only a small number of copies were separately printed for the author. OCLC locates ten copies, all but one east of the Hudson. Wrappers detached, contents fine.
