Description: [Washington, D.C.], n.p. 1857. First edition. Removed. 1 pp. 8vo. "If the principle in this case is recognized, many towns in the interior would have equal claims, which would give a vast expanse to our revenue system, expose it to loss, and involve a greatly increased expense in officers, &c. The petition is herewith returned. About very good with a dampstain to one corner and a faint one along top edge.
