The Republican platform then could be used as the Repubican platform now. It's motto as current as today's headlines. As a protectionist lobbying group it focused on educating the public on what it called 'the evils of free trade.' Its motto was "American Wages.. American Markets.. and American Homes." Rare. None located in OCLC or elsewhere. A very good+ copy with a mail fold.
