Blair, instrumental in forming the new Republican Party and influential in securing the nomination of John C. Fremont, here wages a vicious attack on Buchanan and his allies for using a relative of Andrew Jackson to attack him. Not in Sabin, Dumond, LCP. OCLC 7458101. Disbound, dampstain along top corner, institutional blind stamp and rubber stamp on first page, lower forecorner of last leaf with a small chip. A good copy.
