Description: n.p. n.p. 1856. First edition. Removed. 16 pp. 8vo. Letters opposing the election of Millard Fillmore to the presidency and recommending J.C. Fremont for that office. Marsh presided over the convention which nominated Fillmore but renounces him here. George Law's letter is to Gen. Gustavus Adolphus Scroggs and another on the political crisis; Shaffer's letter also renounces Fillmore. See LCP. Afro-Americana 4071 for separate issue. First leaf with thin chip along top inner margin where removed from larger volume, two soil spots on last leaf, a good copy.
