Robeson, Secretary of the Navy (stamped in gilt on front Board). Robeson (1829-1897) was appointed by President Ulysses S. Grant, and served from 1869 until 1877. A very good copy, minor wear to extremities, bookplate from the Library of the Navy Department on front pastedown, offsetting from index tabs.
